Heart to Heart Episode 18 brings you Carly Hester, Affiliate Director of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).Carly earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. She has 10 + years of experience in the social work/behavioral health field, paired with my most recent Program Development and Non Profit Management experience by being the Director of NAMI Philadelphia. She previously worked with Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services as their Person First Coordinator, where she oversaw both an internal person first task force as well as an external LGBTQIA task force. Carly has a strong passion for social services and aspire to make a difference in the lives of others.
