Heart to Heart Episode 21 features Heather Swann, Miss District of Columbia 2011. Heather is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC. In 2011, she entered the Miss USA pageant and was crowned Miss District of Columbia 2011. She got the opportunity to represent DC, take the stage in Las Vegas at the nationally televised Miss USA pageant, work with non-profit organizations to carry out her platform, attend red carpet events in the crown, and experience the opportunity of a life-time. Heather’s got this natural beauty and glow about her that shines from the inside out. She continues to always make a difference, no matter what she does, and she would become the most amazing role model as a school teacher. As she continues to be a published model, featured in various magazines and publications, as well as features on QVC, Heather is presently a kindergarten teacher at the Woodmoor Elementary School in Baltimore, MD.
